In the restaurant Zum Treffner you can not only enjoy very good food during the day. If you are already in the morning in the restaurant, a spectacular breakfast awaits you - either à la carte or from the buffet.On our visit there was a strong beef soup with inlay, a chopped beef tartar from the Alm ox with asparagus kajo, chili jam and tomato bread. An interesting combination that surprised us in terms of taste in a positive way. Also chose as an onion roast with roasted onions, bacon beans and spaetzle. The dessert was followed by a warm chocolate cake with a scoop of ice cream.

Addendum:Was having breakfast and the quality of the breakfast is OK. I was there at 0700 and it was very "eaten up" and the refilling was very weak. That's why I changed my mind and only give this restaurant 2 stars.Here you can eat quite well. The selection is unfortunately little. But it was still very good. Breakfast I also have to go test around 10 €.

Super friendly staff. The restaurant is well maintained, clean and nice. There is a large garden. The pastries are very good and the coffee excellent. Here we come back in any case, to further test the breakfast offer.

Were guests in the evening, the service was excellent and the food was really good. Everything was fresh and tasted good. Top wines from Austria. Prices are absolutely fine. Gladly again and absolutely to be recommended.

Well, that the Kasnudeln in Carinthia are better than in Vienna, I was clear ... But a better Zwiebelrostbraten ???? We would not have expected that!Real insider tip! 😊👍

A nice place to stay and meals, with many specialties from Carinthia. The staff is absolutely great and child friendly. The hotel Educare in the same house is great for overnight stays. We like to come back.

We were there with several small children between 1 and 3 years. We were served very friendly and all requests such as children's chairs, robber plates were promptly addressed. The children's portions were brought in first, which was very beneficial.The ambience is really nice and the restaurant is very clean and new. The staff was very polite and the food is of a very high quality. It was delicious. Personally, I find the menu very successful because there are not too many dishes. For that they are all the better. CONTINUE, WE WILL BE BACK!

What wanted to eat there, but it was already 1:40 pm and the waitress urged us to order straight away, because otherwise she would not get anything from the kitchen. It was too stressful for us and she recommended another place, namely Josef. There is always a kitchen there. And we did that too. 😂😂👍

Today a trip to the Gerlitze and lunch beforehand at “der Treffner”. The restaurant is nicely designed and the menu is short. This is what gourmets like, because then you know that the boss understands his business. The service is very friendly, drinks arrive very quickly. We then ordered the braised Nockalm beef with dumplings and chanterelles for dinner. Here, too, the delivery to the table in a very manageable time ... then the eye candy begins first. The dish is wonderfully prepared and there is a glow in the eyes. It smells heavenly, the plates are preheated! The first bite of the beef melts on your tongue. The dumpling with chanterelles and the red wine sauce complete the taste experience in the mouth. For dessert we choose the stirred iced coffee. Also a pleasure for the eyes and the palate! The chef of the kitchen is a master of his trade. We would like to recommend his fine cuisine and look forward to your next visit!

The place is always fine and we had a great afternoon there. My husband and I were there together and each of us ordered something different All tables were cleaned perfectly and the armchairs were particularly comfortable. Not only the attentive local staff was the total hit when I visited, but also the good atmosphere.

Rarely that I rate a restaurant only with 2 stars, but this house has earned it! Let's start in a positive way: The breakfast is not very varied but varied and good.I had the opportunity to eat there three times. Once was only the price to complain about - for a few pasta with vegetables, a salad, a soft drink and a small espresso at € 22, - is already violent!The Carinthian Kasnudeln is completely different. Since you should believe that in Carinthia meet a certain standard - far from it! They were big, but tasteless! The fullness was perhaps 90% of potatoes, the typical taste of mint or chervil was missing virtually all.A highlight of the special kind was the beef goulash. Here was a completely unsuitable meat used, which was only tough and dry. The juice tasted unpleasant for bitter pepper and nothing else ... So far, I would have awarded even 3 Sternderl, but a waiter annoyed especially with his Carinthian ski instructor charm!My recommendation: 100m is a Billa-branch!

Great food. Ziebelrostbraten buttery soft. Very good salad and very good quality.Only the fabric of the bench could be renewed, does not quite fit the picture if there are holes and stains on it. But we were there for the food and that was very good. Come again

That was Austria as one imagines it! Super tasty, very nice ... with a beautiful panorama in the background.The inn is right on the street, but you forget that during the good service.The menu is classic, there is also a children's menu.We ate (of course) schnitzel "Wiener Art" (here from pork) ... that was fantastic. With very tasty parsley potatoes tossed in butter!At the end there was Kaiserschmarrn with plum compote ... very, very tasty.The Hit Tavern is really a recommendation, not least because of the nice staff.

Very successful renovation, bright, friendly, inviting. Great food for a fair price, attentive staff. The Treffner fish soup was outstanding. We will certainly come back more often. Highly Recommended.

Very nice and friendly staff. Everything we had at the table was really great. I had the Blondvieh burger and had to say it was EXCLUSIVE. In the restaurant the hotel breakfast is also served and this was very fine. Lovely again !!!!

Am excited about the ambience, the quality, the staff and of course the food. Since the conversion something really great succeeded.

Im Lokal herrschte eine sehr angenehme und stimmige Atmosphäre. Das Personal war wirklich freundlich und zuvorkommend - Hochstühle wurden ohne Aufforderung gebracht. Wir waren eine größere Gruppe mit vielen Kleinkindern, deshalb waren wir froh, dass das Essen zügig serviert wurde. Das Essen was ausgesprochen gut - die Portionen gut bemessen aber auch nicht überladen. Traditionelle Gerichte, keine riesige Karte aber mit regionalen Schmankerln. Sanitärräume sehr sauber. Kann dieses Lokal wirklich weiterempfehlen.
